RoHS Exemptions

There are a number of material exemptions from the RoHS Directive. These are listed in a number of amendments to the Directive. This section of the website is designed to help producers understand whether any of the material exemptions are applicable to their equipment. The BIS Guidance has further descriptive information for each exemption. New exemptions were added on 10/6/2009 – these have been updated on each page accordingly.
